St. Louis, MO - The Golf Foundation of Missouri (GFM) is pleased to announce the awarding of its first ever Founder's Scholarship to golf camp alumna, Natalie Govan. The ceremony was held at Girls Inc. on August 10.
The 2021 graduate of North Technical High School will join the class of 2025 at SIU Edwardsville this fall to study Exercise Science.
The Founder's Scholarship was founded in 2021 to honor The Golf Foundation of Missouri's Founders, Gene Dann, Charlie Rallo, Paul Wunderlich, and Dick Shaiper. Their vision was to "Instill life's lessons and values in St. Louis City youth through the game of golf" and that is what the foundation strives to do each summer. The scholarship plans to award $500 a year to 1-2 finalists to support alumni campers continue their education in college, trade or vocational schools.
